Steel Frames & Trusses

The environment debate is forcing many home builders and buyers to look for alternatives to traditional timber frames. The cutting down of trees has become a highly charged issue and as timber availability lessens, steel is becoming the viable material for durable and versatile building construction. Its natural advantages are popular and desirable to the modern home buyer. For instance, it is remarkably resistant to the elements and will not be eaten by termites, borers or white ants.

Fire resistant, for your peace of mind.

Because steel expands and contracts at about the same rate as plasterboard and cement based cladding there is less risk of cracking.

The strength of steel allows greater sweeps of beam and more adventurous design capability.

The advantages of steel are many and in the hands of STEEL TRUSS, offer a building concept which not only saves dollars but opens vast new horizons.

Bring your building ideas to us and let us show you how we can make steel work for you.

Manufaturing Method

All STEEL TRUSS prefabrication components are clamped and MIG welded.

Welds are painted with zinc rich paint within 20 minutes of welding. There after any on site fabrication if necessary is by Tek Screws or spot welds.

Design Wind Speed

Basic wind load:- N3, 41 metres per second.
